Is there really the “right timing” when to initiate holding hands?

For me, I don’t think you can put a time on it.

I know someone who is been dating for more than 6 months already and didn’t even hold hands. He was worried that the woman might think he was not interested but no idea what to do.

So what I said was, 6 months is pretty much a long time for holding hands… go grab her hands and you’ll know if your approach is welcome.

After that weekend…he came to me clapping happily and so I already know that it worked.

Holding hands is the height of intimacy.

Holding hands boosts love & bonding.

Couples who have happy relationships hold hands automatically, sometimes without even noticing, because of a habit developed by their nervous systems. Holding hands produces the oxytocin, which makes us feel happier and more loved.

Every time someone reaches to clasp my hand in theirs, be it a friend or boyfriend, I immediately overcome stress. I am delighted they want to hold my hand, and I am delighted by the feeling of this person’s hand in mine and mine in theirs.

And did you know that to some, holding hands are more intimate than kissing?

For them, their partner’s kiss is fine, but their looking for a more welcoming hand.

A lot of people consider hand-holding compatibility a barometer for relationship health.

I know when I hold hands with him, it feels like the heart is touching each other.
